Drinks you Should Consider for Nerdy Movie Nights

A nerdy movie night is a chance together your friends together and geek out about your favorite movies, genres, and stories. It’s also the perfect activity to enjoy during the summer months, but you need more than the main event; to make the night more fun, choose some colorful drinks.

Zero Alcohol

These days there is no shortage of options when it comes to zero-alcohol drinks, largely due to the increase in market demand for them. Once considered a fringe choice, zero-alcohol drinks are now the main event for some, especially those who are driving or want to stay clear-headed.

Zero-alcohol drinks are available in all your favorite brands, so there is no need to miss out on any of the quality of tastes. For geeks, having a geeky movie night means you can stay clear-headed for those in-depth discussions about characters, stories, tropes, and comparisons.

Mocktails

People interested in zero-alcohol drinks don’t need to miss out on cocktails. Made in much the same way as their alcoholic counterparts, mocktails use a blend of exotic flavors and accents to create a fancy drink that’s perfect for any party. Mocktails are also fun to make with your friends.

There are plenty of mocktail recipes to choose from, including mojitos, sangria, daiquiris, and more. For your movie night, you might choose a selection of mocktail recipes - perhaps between three and five, depending on your gathering - and buy in the ingredients, glasses, and shakers.

Sentia Spirits

If you want to impress your friends at your movie night, why not introduce a recent innovation in the drinks industry? Sentia spirits, made by Gaba Labs, contain a mixture of botanicals to give you that two-drink feeling without any alcohol. Of course, there isn’t a hangover to worry about.

Sentia Spirits is a unique innovation in the drinks industry and has been decades in the making. These drinks are in their early phase and are only available in limited flavors at the moment; still, they are worth a try at your summer movie night, a great way to relax and chat with friends.

Cocktails

If you prefer a little alcohol to loosen up and socialize with, classic cocktails are an excellent option. Everybody loves the flair and flavor of classic cocktails like Singapore Sling, Espresso Martini, Gin Martini, and White Russian. They are as fun to make as they are to drink as well.

If the main event of your movie night is to stream Sun Moon, why not gather your friends together beforehand to make the cocktails and get a little tipsy? A little pre-movie gathering is a perfect way to set the mood for the evening and discuss some of your favorite movie elements.

Alcohol Drinks

If you want to go down the alcohol route, there is no shortage of options. Everybody has their favorite drinks, so make sure you have a range of beers, wines, ciders, and cocktails available. Alcohol drinks can be fun, but they have some downsides, like overdrinking and hangovers.
